SCORES OF PEOPLE filed past the casket bearing former principal of the Barbados Community College, Norma Holder as the body lay in repose in the College’s auditorium this morning.
Holder’s husband Dr Jean Holder, her daughters Dr Janet Holder and Caroline Holder-DeLaCour, along with other family members, put on a brave face while they accepted condolences from many who paused to greet them.
It was a generally sombre atmosphere, brightened only with the beauty of the music Holder loved and which musicians from the College’s music programme played throughout the four and a half hours of the viewing. (GC)
