Urgent appeal for blood

THIRTY-THREE YEAR-OLD Tania Goring, who has been hospitalised in the Medical Intensive Care Unit for the past 43 days, is urgently in need of O Negative or B negative blood.

Persons, between the age of 17 and 70, who are interested in donating blood, may visit the Blood Collecting Centre, Ladymeade Gardens, Jemmotts Lane, St Michael, Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

The public is reminded that diabetics on insulin, or those who have had a tattoo, body piercing or acupuncture within the last year, are not permitted to give blood.
