PETER RAM WILL LEAD the Bajan contingent on stage when the International Soca Monarch finals come off on Friday at the Queens Park Savannah, Trinidad.

Ram pulled No. 3 and Hypasounds, the other Bajan, follows right behind him at No. 4.

Hypasounds, a first-timer in the competition, will be followed by Lyrikal.

Ola, the defending champion, will be the last man onstage at No. 20.

Peter Ram, who made the finals after a wild card vote, says he is ready to bring the show to the stage.

“I saw five missed calls on my phone from the organisers of the International Soca Monarch. When I called back the lady told me that I made it into the finals from the wildcard round. I thought she was kidding and she said no she was serious.” hypasounds-draw

Ram said he was thankful for the votes and he couldn’t do it without the fans – in the region and internationally.

“My family is happy for me. I even called my doctor Donna Matthews who was there for me from the start. I am now preparing for the finals. I going real hard. This ain’t no easy thing. This is gas now as I was cruising for the semi-finals.” (NS)
