Jones wants cracks covered

THE MINISTER in charge of Education is disgusted. Ronald Jones is tired of seeing the cracks of male students’ buttocks and that which normally hang on clothes lines on weekends.

And he has ordered the principal of a tertiary education institution to immediately enforce the dress code or send the offenders back home.

Minister Jones was speaking as the Samuel Jackman Prescod Polytechnic received $84 000 worth of equipment under the Skills for the Future Programme yesterday. The equipment included a laminator, a photocopier and chairs.

A fired up minister noted that as he was driving towards the Pine facility he saw a number of male students with their low-riding pants and witnessed the security guards urging them to put on their school polo t-shirts or asking them to pull up their pants.
