ADD THE House of Nyabinghi to another religion contemplating legal action over their females being required to remove their headwear for official photographs.
Spokesman for the Rastafarian order, Bongo Isaiah, said it was not only Muslim women who were being ordered to take off their religious headdress.
Speaking in the wake of a revelation by a Muslim woman that she was considering legal action after she was ordered to remove her hijab to take photographs for her national identification card, passport and driver’s licence, Bongo Isaiah said that while women of other Rastafarian orders might not have a problem “uncovering them head”, the Nyabinghi women “have them head covered so long as them in public”.
