‘Not about money’

IT IS NOT about  the money for MP Dr Maria Agard, but upholding justice and preserving good governance in Barbados.

The expelled Barbados Labour Party (BLP) member set out her position after leaving the Supreme Court yesterday.

The outspoken parliamentarian left the courthouse in the presence of her attorneys, Hal Gollop QC and Lynette Eastmond, after what was set to be the first day of hearing in her civil suit against the BLP. It has now been adjourned  until April next year.

Agard told the Weekend Nation it was unfortunate that the general concern for some people, with regards to the case, was about damages.
