AS Barbados’ tourism continues its rebound, the island can look forward to more visitors from the German market.
The assurance has been given by Captain Vincent Cofalka who brought over 2 000 passengers to the island yesterday aboard the cruise ship AIDA Diva.
Speaking in a busy Bridgetown Port with all its berths taken, Cofalka said he was happy with the facilities at the port.
“We are very satisfied with the existing capacities and the quality of the infrastructure when it comes to passenger turnover,” he told the Daily Nation minutes after he had done the customary exchange of plaques with Minister of Tourism Richard Sealy.
