AN AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL Insurance Warrens moved within one game of winning their second Goddard Enterprises Limited Division One women’s volleyball crown when the disjointed 2015 season continued on Tuesday night at the Wildey Gym.
The disrupted season is into a month of overtime and even on Tuesday night the men’s fixture had to be cancelled at the 11th hour after the Gym’s floor was not prepared to host games on both ends.
Thus kings in waiting Flow Deacons had to put their coronation on hold once again.
Warrens, who won their first league title in 2012, enjoyed a canter against a weak Brydens Rockets to take their game 25-11, 25-16, 25-19. (KB)
