THREE MAJOR housing projects by the National Housing Corporation are “hopefully”, expected to be available to the public before year end said Minster of Housing and Lands Denis Kellman.
“We have solved Constant, St George, we have solved Parish Land, St Philip. We are about to solve Grotto, St Michael,” Kellman said as he referred to the three projects.
Speaking to the media on the sidelines of the presentation of the Barbados National Habitat III Report at Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre, Kellman said several issues ranging from environmental problems to contractor problems delayed the Constant and Parish Land projects.
He added that cost factors would have affected the occupation of the Grotto site. (LK)
