AS THE DEMOCRATIC Labour Party celebrates its 60th anniversary, some members are currently worshipping at Faith New Testament Church of God at Kirtons, St Philip.

President of the Ladies’ Ministry and First Lady Beverly Connolly delivered a sermon which spoke to finding a refuge in God when pressures were too much.

She also admonished the church members, who included Prime Minister Freundel Stuart and his cabinet colleagues, to have God as their best friend.

Connolly also touched on parents’ responsibilities and the administering of discipline in a firm, but loving way to their children. (JS)
