BARBADOS PRIDE strolled to a comfortable win by ten wickets over the Jamaica Scorpions yesterday, five minutes before lunch on the final day to open their account for the 2015 WICB Professional Cricket League with 17 points.
A heavy shower that held up the start by an hour and a half at Kensington Oval, along with stubborn resistance from the Scorpions’ last-wicket pair, delayed the inevitable outcome, with the visitors, who resumed their second innings on 161 for eight, eventually dismissed for 187 after 6.4 overs.
Barbados Pride openers Kraigg Brathwaite and Kyle Corbin duly knocked off the four runs required in three overs. (WH)
