Families preparing to bury four

THEY BONDED together like sisters, and now there are plans to bury them together.

Family members of Wavney Johnson, 25, Carey Brathwaite, 18, and cousins 22-year-old Shakira and Shameka Shepherd, 23, are trying to make arrangements to bury sometime next week the four young women who died in last Sunday’s horrific accident on Two Mile Hill, St Michael.

A spokesperson for the Shepherd family, of Long Bay, St Philip, who declined to be identified, told the MIDWEEKNATION yesterday they were hoping all the families would agree to it.

She added they also planned to hold a candlelight vigil later this week in Long Bay.
