“ALL AH WE” is one Caribbean!
Dominica’s Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit made that statement last night at Kensington Oval, as he thanked the Barbadian public for their support of his country which was devastated by Tropical Storm Erika on August 27.
Taking the words from Party Monarch Peter Ram’s winning Crop Over hit All Ah We, Skerrit took to the stage after being introduced by Biggie Irie, who sang his Crop Over 2014 song Get Ova, to give a nine-minute speech to loud cheers from the huge crowd at the One Caribbean: The Concert For The Children Of Dominica.
He jokingly started singing Many Rivers To Cross but stopped to read from his script instead.
