Daddy’s Wish a rising star

RACING ENTHUSIASTS might have seen another future star in Daddy’s Wish on last Saturday’s Hyundai Sale-Graduates’ Race Day at the historic Garrison Savannah.

Owned by Mr Brain, Daddy’s Wish, the daughter of Janak out of Arrangement, was a very pleasant winner of her third career start.

Under jockey Anderson Trotman, she got into stride early and held a slender advantage on the rails going into the paddock bend, noticeably being held under long reins. 

The Franz Phillips-bred, Naz Issa-trained chestnut filly galloped along the back stretch easily as challenger and first-time-out conqueror Pay As You Go, under jockey Antonio Whitehall, was constantly asked to maintain the pace.
