DLP members, supporters engaging in worship

SCORES OF SUPPORTERS of the ruling Democratic Labour Party are taking part in a worship session at the party’s George Street Auditorium as part of the DLP’s 60thAnnual Conference.

The session began with songs of worship led by Michelle Williams, Dionne Best, and Ria Armstrong of the Covenant Life Teaching Centre.

It is now being addressed by Pastor Wesley Dear.

Among those present are senior party members Senator Dr Esther Byer, and Members of Parliament Ronald Jones and Steve Blackett.

The highlight of the day’s celebration is an address by party leader Prime Minister Freundel Stuart at around 11:15 a.m. (WILLCOMM)
