HICCUPS AND UNRULY behaviour continue to plague the Foreday Morning Jam as it began late from the new Queens Park starting area following the new starting time of 11 p.m.
Police told the NATION ONLINE it was the disorganisation of the bands which led to the half hour delay and may lead to another early end to the festivities.
After the start, more delays occurred as some bands took longer than others to set off. Along the route, some bands were halted by officials as deejay’s struggled to keep order, pleading with revellers to stay in their designated area and for unauthorised personnel to keep out.
The first band out from Queens Park was MVP, followed around 15 minutes later by the Pain City Army. Five minutes after that, 37 Tribes quickly got itself in order but another lag of around 15 minutes occurred before Island Fusion was able to get going. (CA)
