EIGHTEEN BANDS are scheduled to face the judges at this year’s Junior Kadooment. Heavy showers threatened the proceedings at the National Stadium, but could not stop the party.

Led by Charlie the Crime Stopper and followed by the impressive Kings and Queens of the bands, this year’s Junior Kadooment promised to be another memorable one.

The sun soon broke on the brilliant colours and costumes, representing themes such as culture, agriculture, nature and regional integration.

Several of the early bands have already left the stadium and are on Codrington Road where they are having their own mini kadoo. (CA)kiddies1
