MILO LODGE captured their sixth Barbados Cricket Association’s Under-19 Schools title by defeating defending champions Nicholls Baking Combermere by four wickets in a rain-affected final yesterday at Dayrells Road.
The match was reduced to 22 overs due to steady showers during the morning and eventually commenced at 1 p.m. After winning the toss and electing to field, Lodge restricted Combermere to 118 for six. In reply, Lodge reached 121 for six in 19.2 overs to win with 16 balls to spare.
Man-of-the-match Kwame Patton led the way for Lodge with a very spirited innings of 41 before falling with 29 runs required. (AH)
