However, it appears the Barbados netball team is assured of going to the World Cup in Australia next month.
President of the Barbados Netball Association (BNA) Nisha Craigwell told NATION SPORT over the weekend that the National Sports Council had committed to assisting with airfares for the 17-member squad of 12 players, a head coach, an assistant coach, manager, team doctor and physiotherapist.
She said that to cover other expenses, the association still needed a further $20 000 to seal the deal.
