THE BARBADOS LIGHT and Power Company Limited (BL&P) is experiencing a problem at the Spring Garden, St Michael plant which has resulted in a power outage.
According to a media release, there is a problem with one of the generators and the team has been working steadily to fix the issue.
Power has been restored to some area and BL&P says they are working towards full restoration as soon as possible.
The release also states the situation has been compounded by “the fact that one of our service providers is currently experiencing issues resulting in incoming external calls to the company not being received”.
The company apologised for the inconvenience. (PR/SAT)
