‘Raw SSA deal for Alleyne’

STANTON?ALLEYNE has been given a raw deal and to have him act as general manager of the Sanitation Service Authority (SSA) for seven years is unreasonable and unfair.
So says National Union of Public Workers (NUPW)?general secretary Dennis Clarke, who also believes that what Alleyne had to endure could not have obtained in the private sector.
“If an individual is not worthy of his hire, why string him along? There are no adverse reports being held against Mr Alleyne.
“His performance over the past seven years cannot be in doubt, given the fact that he has not been reverted to his substantive post and no charge has been laid against his performance. (MK)
