What started out as a weekend of merriment has ended tragically for a young St Michael mother.
Police are probing the suspected rape and murder of 37-year-old Nicole Harrison-Watson, whose body was discovered about 1:20 p.m. yesterday by brother Anthony Johnson upstairs in her Ferniehurst, Black Rock, St Michael home she shared with 18-year-old daughter Samantha.
She had hours earlier attended Friday night’s Vintage Reggae Show at Kensington Oval, with sources close to her saying that after having an enjoyable time at the event, she had been driven home by friends about 4 a.m.
Harrison-Watson, a former clerical officer with the Urban Development Commission, was reportedly found with her hands tied, mouth taped, and half-naked.
Close friends and family were too overcome with grief to give further details on the incident, while police officals on the scene would only say they still had to carry out forensic investigations. (ROG)
