Meet Barbados’ newest batting sensation.
Deswin Currency set tongues wagging yesterday after completing his third successive century in the LIME Under-15 Cricket Competition.
He stroked an unbeaten 100 that lifted Easy Bake St Leonard’s to a total of 189 for three in 27 overs against Lester Vaughan at Cane Garden.
It followed his 120 against Coleridge & Parry at Richmond Gap in the second series last week and 100 not out against Garrison at Beckles Road in the opening round.
Here, Currency drives through the off-side en route to his century yesterday.
