Sir Garfield Sobers may be 76 years old, but he remains an active competitor on the golf course.
The legendary former West Indies cricketer will be among more than 100 golfers vying for honours when the 29th United Insurance Barbados Open starts today at the The Country Club course at Sandy Lane.
In preparation for the three-day event, Sir Garfield took to the greens yesterday to get in last-minute preparations.
Here, he completes a stroke under the watchful eye of fellow competitor Cally Boyea, Esso country manager.
