The heavy defeat means West Indies must beat New Zealand in their last Super Eights match tomorrow to stand a chance of making the final four.
West Indies’ problems started in the fifth over when opener Johnson Charles (above), whose 84 helped set up victory against England on Thursday, charged Mendis and missed. Wicket-keeper Kumar Sangakkara completed an easy stumping.
