Heather Walker is still the champion  of the Barbados Equestrian Association’s Super League 3.
In the highest class competed locally, the team of Walker and  Super Trooper earned two Super League 3 first place rosettes, both with clear rounds, in the third and final Super League Competition for 2013 which was held recently at The Big C Stables in Frere Pilgrim, Christ Church.
The pair retained the Super League 3, 1.15-1.25m trophy with a total of 40 points from five wins and a second place for the year, whilst Erin Stephany, with her mount Stella Blue, is the reserve champion with 27 points.
Despite rails in both classes for a total of eight faults in each, Allanah Wilkie and Pantera still recorded firsts in both of the Super League 2 classes ahead of Annemeik Mackie on Kiwi who  had 13 faults.
With these two first places, Wilkie has a cumulative total of 28 points from four firsts, and has emerged the Super League 2 jumping champion ahead of Stephany and Forest  with ten points.
Paige Tryhane is the Super League 1 champion with 28 points from four first places, while Isobella Copeland and Malibu Barbie are the reserve on 14 points.
Riding both Ole and Emmanuel, Tryhane dominated the Super League 1 Classes, winning both on Ole.
Tryhane, and Walker riding Sky at Dusk, shared the ribbons for both classes in this level. They were separated by time only, as both girls recorded all clear rounds.
In the first class, Tryhane and Ole were first. She was also second, this time riding Emmanuel, sharing the position with an identical course time of 59.92 seconds with Walker on Sky at Dusk.
In the second class, it was Tryhane riding Ole who was first. She was second on Emmanuel and Walker and Sky at Dusk took third place.
Nine year-old Indy Jones, riding Raindrop and Whirl Wind, confirmed her position as the up and coming junior jumper to watch. Jones achieved two firsts, both with clear rounds. She also had a second place with one rail down for four faults in the two additional (non-Super League) 0.70- 0.80m classes on Whirl Wind.
As a result of her consistent performance so far for the year, she is leading the children’s section of this class with 27 points. Alex Huey and Cookie Ward are tied in second place with 14 points each.
Young Annika Armstrong, riding  Faith, was first in the 0.60m class. (PR/SAT)
