Traffic changes for Junior Kadooment

Junior Kadooment 2013 takes place at the National Stadium today from 9 am to 1 pm.  To facilitate this event a number of temporary traffic arrangements shall be in effect.
The bands will assemble outside the Nova Scotia Gate and parade before the judges in the National Stadium and proceed via the Jaycees Gate along Codrington Road, turn right onto Bush Hall Road, turn right again onto Stadium Road and return to the National Stadium.
Between 8 am and 2 pm Codrington Road, from its junction with Stadium Road to its junction with Bush Hall Road, shall be closed to all vehicular traffic except vehicles used by the Crop Over Festival Committee and all emergency vehicles.
No person shall park or permit a vehicle to remain stationary on the following roads except for the purpose of picking up or setting down passengers: Codrington Road, Waterford Road, Bow Road, Bush Hall Main Road, Spooner’s Hill Road and Bush Hall Yard Gap.
No parking will be permitted on the sidewalks.
Parking for patrons will be in the designated areas near the stadium. All vehicles permitted to enter the stadium will carry passes marked ‘Junior Kadooment.
The public is required to comply with the lawful directions of police officers on duty in uniform who will be deployed at strategic points. (PR)
