A BOAT OWNER and several fishermen suffered a major blow to their livelihood yesterday afternoon.
Fishing boat We Care, which is owned by Bernard “Cups” Seale, suffered extensive damage when it crashed to the ground in the Oistins Boatyard after a piece of equipment from a crane that was lifting it broke away.
The boat had been transported from the Bridgetown Fisheries Complex on a trailer and was just a few feet away from where it would be parked for routine maintenance when the accident occurred. No one was injured.
