I am of the view that I am running out of time to get married and have a family.
I have been with my girlfriend for four years. She is a beautiful person – both inside and out – and she means a lot to me.
However, I met and started a sexual relationship with a young woman six months ago. Since then, I am unable to get her out of my mind. She knows about my girlfriend, but wants me to leave her so she can be with me.
I am at a loss. I love my girlfriend, but I thoroughly enjoy sex with this other girl. What should I do? Break up,or forget this girl ever happened and get married to my girlfriend?
I’d like your opinion. I’m 43, my girlfriend is 32 and this other girl is 25.

Dear W.A.D.,
Getting married is a serious step. If you truly love your girlfriend, you would know deep down inside whether it’s time to take your relationship with her to the next level.
Do not confuse sex with love. As long as you are craving sex with this other woman, you will not be free to totally commit to your girlfriend of four years.
While this other woman may “suit your fancies” right now, this does not mean she will be a life partner, so don’t grab at the image in the water and lose the real thing. In fact, a few tingles and a sexual encounter do not make a relationship.
In addition, if you are of the view that time is running out for you to get married and start a family, you must be aware of the time frame involved in starting over. You’re looking at years before you get as close to someone new as you are with the current girlfriend.
Quit the cheating and don’t rush into marriage if you’re not sure. Only you can know if your girlfriend is the one.
