The now almost three year partnership between Red Advertising & Marketing Limited and Banks (Barbados) Breweries Limited continues to pay dividends.
For the body of work produced for Banks Beer, Deputy, and the Malicious Brew Craft Series, the creative agency recently secured an unprecedented 13 ADDY awards from the Caribbean Advertising Federation.
The impressive results follow outstanding performances across both traditional and non-traditional media platforms.
“We were simply thrilled when the results were announced,” said Melissa Young, senior account executive with Red.
“Over the past couple of years, our relationship with the ‘Beer of Barbados’ has blossomed and the number of awards we have won is a testament to this. As a leader in the local manufacturing industry, Banks deserves to have cutting-edge creative and this is what Red strives to give all of its brands. We couldn’t be happier with the results.”
Red has now won a total of 44 ADDYs – including five prestigious District ADDYs – for its work with the ‘Beer of Barbados’, as well as on Banks Breweries successful new brands, Deputy Pilsner Lager and the Malicious Brew Craft Series led by the quirkily named Vex Yellow Monkey Blonde Lager.
“Congratulations to Red on another outstanding year,” said Bernard Frost, group marketing manager, Banks Holdings Limited.
“We must also say thank you to Red for making our brands some of the most awarded in the Caribbean. Our partnership with the agency continues to grow from strength to strength and we look forward to even more exciting campaigns this year. We salute Red for their commitment and for pushing the boundaries of creative advertising and marketing.”
Red received major accolades for its creative work on Vex Yellow Monkey, the first expression in the Malicious Brew Craft Series. The agency won awards for speciality advertising, print advertising, apparel, signage and posters, in addition to copping a gold award for the design of its thermo chromic label, the first temperature activated label to be distributed in the local market.
“We strongly believe that our attention to detail, coupled with our cutting-edge approach to creative design, will ensure continued growth for the brands which are included under the Banks umbrella,” added Young.
“It is a great achievement to win awards on each and every brand entrusted to Red by Banks Breweries. We feel very proud and justly privileged to represent the Banks Breweries brands and we look forward to even more success in the future.”
