CLOSE TO 25 people went missing in Barbados between October 19 last year and March 15 this year.
Police could not give an update on all the cases, but NATION records indicate that 17 of those people appear to be still on the missing list.
That list showed that 15 teenagers, ranging in age from 14 to 19 years, disappeared and three who were 70 and over were also numbered amongst the missing; Leroy Forde, 83, and 70 year-old Mildred Wilkinson have since been found dead.
Last week 23-year-old Onicka Gulliver’s decomposing body was discovered in Vaucluse, St Thomas, and someone was charged in connection with her death.
There was some good news in that missing bunch, however. Three women and one male were found alive.
Public relations officer of the RBPF Inspector David Welch told the SUNDAY?SUN on Thursday that there were systems in place that were working in the search for missing people and determining their whereabouts.
