To church with youth

Take your children to church.
Minister of Social Care Steve Blackett had this simple message yesterday for parents and guardians.
He was supported by Reverend Suzette Husbands of the Sanctuary Empowerment Centre, who told adults they should be “working overtime to bring [children] to the house of God”.
Blackett made the comment while addressing a standing-room-only service at the Country Road, St Michael church to launch Child Month. He told parents and guardians that they needed to “ensure that [children] attend church and get involved from an early age”.
He said those looking after the welfare of children had to “walk the walk” rather than just “talk the talk”; they must let children see their commitment to God and His word through “the lifestyle that you live”. (TY)
