The mystery in the waters off St Vincent over the weekend has deepened.
While one man has been officially reported missing from a boat, unconfirmed reports are that another was on board the same vessel and he is also missing. But local police said they have had no such report of a second missing person made to them.
Yesterday, the Vincentian Coast Guard, while confirming to the DAILY NATION that there was a report a Barbadian vessel with two men on it had capsized, could give no further details.
On Sunday police sent out a missing person report on Corey Andre Beckles, 32, of St Andrew, who had not been seen by his wife Shanirah since May Day.
Yesterday, a NATION team visited a family in St Michael said to be that of the alleged missing man, but they neither confirmed nor denied that a relative had disappeared or that they had received any reports regarding his well-being. (AC)
