POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING the circumstances surrounding the shooting of 20-year-old Jamar Alleyne at Brownes Beach, St Michael yesterday.
The incident occurred about 4:45 p.m. Police say they received reports of a fracas and gunshots being heard on the mentioned beach.
Alleyne was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital suffering from a gunshot related injury to his right ankle. (PR/NB)
