TWO MEN will spend Christmas in prison after they were jointly charged by members of the Drug Squad in connection with Sunday’s seizure of 37.1 kilogrammes of cocaine, 46.4 pounds of cannabis and one nine millimetre pistol off South Point, Christ Church.
Thirty-one-year-old Kevin Browne of Lower Carters Gap, Christ Church and 39-year-old Derrick Goodridge Goodland Main Road, St Michael appeared in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court today and were remanded until January 5, 2015. They will appear in the Oistins Magistrates’ Court.
They have been charged with possession of cannabis, trafficking in cannabis; possession with intent to supply cannabis; importation of cannabis; possession of cocaine; trafficking in cocaine; possession with intent to supply cocaine; importation of cocaine; illegal possession of a firearm; and importation of a firearm.
