THE MIGHTY COUGARS of Corbin House are the champs of St Christopher Primary.
With a total of 568 points, the yellow clad lads and lasses held onto their narrow lead going into Friday’s inter-house sports meet at the Lashley Williams Dover Sports Complex in Dover, Christ Church to earn bragging rights for the next year.
The cougars were able to hold off a strong fight from the Ifill House Eagles (Orange) who finished second with 538 points. The Blades House Blazers (Green) came third with 458 points and Haynes House (Purple) rounded off the table with 399 points.
If there was an award for teachers who really motivated their athletes, Ifill’s Cynara Colucci-Francis would be a major contender. This does not mean the other teachers in the other houses did not do much or anything at all, but her energy and encouragement counted for a lot during the entire event. (Green Bananas Media)
