ATHLETICS’ PRODIGAL SON Anthonio Mascoll has returned home and is making a comeback to the track after a couple of years in the wilderness.

The three-time CARIFTA Games gold medallist in the 800 metres is also eyeing next year’s Olympic Games in Rio, Brazil.

“I came in about three weeks now and will be here until the Olympics,” Mascoll told WEEKEND SPORT following a training session at the Stadium.

And the 22-year-old Mascoll, who gained an athletic scholarship to South Plains College in Texas where he spent two years before an enforced break took him away from the track, could run at the popular Relay Fair at the National Stadium tomorrow.
