Mottley: Bring report

THE OPPOSITION Barbados Labour Party (BLP) wants Parliament’s Committee of Privileges to hurry up and table its report in the House of Assembly on the so-called Speaker Michael Carrington Affair.

Leader of the Opposition Mia Mottley last night indicated the party was bothered by the time it was taking the committee comprising members of both sides of the House to hand in its report.

“If the committee has no more work to do, bring the report to Parliament,” she appealed during a public meeting at St George Secondary School addressed by the party’s two St George MPs, Dwight Sutherland (St George South) and  Gline Clarke (St George North).
