THE PRESENCE of former Trinidad and Tobago champion driver John “Penti” Powell will give tomorrow’s Double Header event of the Motoring Club Barbados Inc.’s (MCBI) and the Barbados Rally Club (BRC) a regional flavour.
The tarmac speed event is slated to start at 10 a.m. and finish by 4 p.m. There will be a practice run and three official runs in each direction.
The event is part of Powell’s preparation for international events later this year and a good performance would go a long in helping him to gauge the Intercontinental Shipping/Trinidad Mooring & Launch Services Ford Focus WRC08 under competition conditions. (TT)
