THIS NEWSPAPER and the broadcast media must not allow themselves to become the public relations propaganda mouthpieces for homosexual activists.
In the article Homophobia Leading To More Cases Of HIV, which was published in the SUNDAY SUN of May 10, they boldly assert that decriminalising buggery will lead to a diminution in the HIV infection rate among homosexual men.
But their assertions are at odds with the facts, for in countries which have decriminalised buggery and legalised same-sex marriage, the HIV infection rate among homosexual men has gotten dramatically worse.
The United States Centre for Disease Control and Prevention is reporting that since 2010, the HIV infection rate among homosexual men has increased from 50 per cent of the total number of infections to 63 per cent; the British National Health Service (NHS) is reporting that one in eight homosexual men are HIV-positive compared to one in 26 for heterosexual men.
This infection rate among gays is rising so inexorably that the NHS on March 9 joined an earlier call by the World Health Organisation in recommending that all sexually active gay men be given expensive anti-retroviral drugs whether or not they are HIV positive.
Shouting self-affirming slogans about hate, homophobia, human rights, stigma and discrimination cannot sensibly dismiss such stark medical facts, which not for the politics, should rightly be regarded as a public-health issue.
Furthermore, these medical facts are a stinging indictment of gay men, for in spite of the numerous campaigns targeting gay men to use condoms, they are refusing to do so. This is where the truth lies. Even the lowly prostitutes use condoms in their sexual encounters.
“Stigma and discrimination” do not prevent homosexual men from using condoms, neither will the removal of the buggery law. Indeed, such reckless conduct and rabid promiscuity are indicative of a mental health illness which is characterised by suicidal self-destructive behaviour and idolatry.
But such promiscuity is readily explained. Nature has so equipped us that women are considerably more selective about who they have sex with than men.
A man will usually have sex with any woman who makes herself available to him. Gays forgo this check and balance, hence the rampant promiscuity, sexual idolatry and consequentially the higher incidence of HIV, hepatitis, gonorrhea, syphilis, other sexually transmitted diseases, mental health problems and premature death.
Therefore, the buggery law must remain as it protects society at large and homosexual men from their own self-destruction. It also serves the purpose that should there be an accusation of rape, then the perpetrator cannot insist that the act was consensual. In this regard, it protects our young men.
Finally, studies reveal that children raised by homosexuals are four times more likely to be homosexual themselves. Of course homosexuals do not complain of this as their intention is to homosexualise our children. We must not let them.
