‘Donico’ does it in Classic

“THANK THE LORD he did not hurt himself. The last time he lost his jockey.”

Those were the first words of successful trainer Robert Peirce as his charge Donicodidit won the feature race 40th edition of the Grade I – Pinnacle Feeds Midsummer Creole Classic over 1 800 metres yesterday at the Garrison Savannah yesterday.

Confidently ridden by jockey Antonio Perch, the son of Copy That out of Body N Soul, easily lowered the colours of the raging hot 3-5 favourite Poetic Licence.

Peirce told SUNSPORT that Donicodidit is a very happy horse who gives his best and doesn’t need lots of preparation.

“I just keep him sound and he runs his heart out. He is fit and only needed a little freshening up during last week.
