Traffic changes for City Fest 2015

THE 2015 CROP OVER City Fest and Ceremonial Delivery of the Last Canes will be held in Bridgetown on Saturday.

To facilitate this event, temporary traffic changes have been made and are as follows:

No Parking

Between 10 a.m. and 11 p.m., no parking and no vehicles will be allowed to remain stationary along the following roads:

Road Closures

Between 10 a.m. and 11 p.m. the following roads will be closed to all vehicular traffic except those used by members of the Festival Committee:

Other changes

a)     Traffic travelling along Cheapside going towards Jubilee Gardens will turn left onto Literary Row.

b)     Traffic travelling along Tudor Street will turn right onto Chapel Street and then onto Hart Street.

Parking

Taxis will not be permitted to park along Wharf Road to Trafalgar Street. Taxis will be permitted to park along Rickett Street. Taxis that play their trade from Lower Broad Street will be relocated to Niles Street.

Parking for patrons will be permitted in the public car parks throughout the City. (PR)
