BARBADOS are the Caribbean Zonal Volleyball Association Under-18 queens.
The Bajan lasses totally dominated the competition in Curacao by trouncing Bonaire 25-14, 25-8, 25-22 in the final on Sunday night. Barbados not only played unbeaten but did not drop a set in any of their matches.
Barbados also took the lion’s share of the individual awards with captain Ashley Jordan taking the Best Opposite and MVP awards. Dashonta Addison claimed the Best Server and Best Setter awards while Aaliyah Durant was one of the best outside hitters and Shanae Boyce was one of the Best Blockers.
