LONGSTANDINg netball administrator Deborah Lynch-Theobalds has once again been recognised for her valuable contribution to the sport.

Lynch-Theobalds was given a service award by the International Netball Federation (INF) at its congress earlier this week ahead of the World Cup in Sydney.

Just last year she was given an award for 40 years of service to the sport by the Caribbean Netball Association during their Diamond Jubilee in 2014, and also received a Life Achievement Award from the Barbados Association of Netball Umpires.

Barbados Netball Association president Nisha Craigwell congratulated Lynch-Theobalds on the award, noting that she has given invaluable contribution to the sport through all levels and in various capacities.

“We are delighted that the International Netball Federation sought it necessary to award Deborah with a Service Award as it is truly deserving. Netball continues to be outstanding for Barbados and this is another achievement of which we can be proud,” said Craigwell.
