THERE ARE REPORTS of a fire at the Warren Office Complex, commonly known as the Barrack building.
Staff have been evacuated from the building and several crews from the Barbados Fire Service are on the scene.
The damage appears to be on the upper levels of the five-story building and workers told Nation Online they smelled smoke coming from the fourth floor.
It appears to have originated from a bathroom and workers said there was “an electrical smell”.
The Warrens Office Complex houses several government ministries and departments. (CA)
