Leslie Alleyne and Chris O’Neal have tightened their grip on the Barbados Rally Club’s (BRC) Chefette MudDogs Safari Championship.

They turned in  a hat-trick of wins,  a record in off-road navigational history in Barbados, when they won last Sunday’s September Safari in the Simpson Motors/Shell Spirax/Shell Rimula/Maxxis Isuzu  D-Max.

In fact, they created history, becoming the  first crew to win three consecutive events  overall since the BRC’s  off-road navigational championship was launched in 2004,  and they did it with 522 penalties.

They held off a strong challenge from the pair  of Ben Norris and Kirk Watkins in the Birdies Restaurant Ford Ranger, who chalked up 880 penalties.
