AS THE CHRISTMAS SEASON swings into high gear, the Salvation Army is gearing up to feed younger mouths and more mothers and their children.
Word of this has come from the public relations officer with the Salvation Army, Major Denzil Walcott.
He was speaking to the Saturday Sun as the Reed Street, The City philanthropic organisation gets ready to launch its Christmas Kettle and Letter Appeal next Thursday at 10 a.m. at Jubilee Gardens.

Major Walcott noted Salvation Army’s programme, including its Meals-On-Wheels programme, usually catered to the elderly and shut-ins.
