THE FAMILY OF THE LATE Marcelle Smith is today still waiting for answers as to why her life was taken prematurely.

As close family and friends packed the St Patrick’s Roman Catholic Cathedral on Bay Street yesterday to bid their final goodbyes at a thanksgiving service the question remained: Why?

Smith’s lifeless body was discovered in a ravine in St George, several days after she went missing on October 14.

Her daughter, Tanya, who gave the eulogy, made it clear that the family would not rest until they got answers.

“Why was this person on the street? Why did someone see fit to get him out and why is it now being swept under the rug?” she asked. (SDB Media)
