THE KING OF SWING it is.

Top-ranked tennis pro Darian King is the country’s top sportsman for 2015, at least by our reckoning, having received a near unanimous vote from SUNDAY SUN writers for the NATION’s Sports Personality Of The Year.

It’s in recognition of a truly outstanding year, where the 23-year-old Bajan ace rose to a career-best world ranking of 193 after winning six singles tournaments, taking home five doubles titles, and making history at last year’s US Open.

All that’s left for King to win is the National Sports Council’s equivalent of the award, which will be presented to some lucky athlete later this month.
