THERE’S JUST no beating these Cavs right now.
Lumber Company Lakers were the latest to find this out, having scored just two points over the final four minutes, as Station Hill maintained their unbeaten start to the Co-operators General Insurance Basketball Premier League via Sunday’s 71-65 win at the Barbados Community College.
It was their fifth win in as many league games, and eighth overall taking into account the squad’s impressive run to last month’s knockout title.
Their march through the regular season has been even more outstanding still, with the Cavs beating opponents by a league-leading average of 22 points per contest.
